About Us

Chris Torres was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he currently resides. He has been tattooing professionaly for the past twelve (12) years. He has worked at many shops throughout Manhattan, and Brooklyn. He owned, and tattooed out of a shop called "Alphabet City Studios" on avenue 'A' from 1998-2003. He was an illustration major for two years at F.I.T., and is licensed by the NYDH (New York Dept. of Health). He specializes in custom work, and custom lettering, and is available by appointment only.

"I've been tattooing since 19996, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. My list of influences is way too long to begin to type, but there is quite obviously a strong traditonal american, and japanese influence. I prefer to work in color, I love to do lettering, I like to make my tattoos readable from far away, and "GO BIG OR GO HOME"!! I'm pretty busy these days so I encourage making appointments, but if the opportunity presents itself, and I have time, I will take walk-ins. So, I hope you enjoy the work I have up (I'll do my best to switch it up, and keep it interesting.), and if you do my number is at the bottom of every page of my website.
